Meizu Technology, has launched its next high-end smartphone dubbed as Meizu PRO 5 at an event in Beijing today. This device comes with mBack touch-sensitive home button similar to Meizu MX 5 along with mTouch 2.1 fingerprint sensor technology.
Further, this device comes with mCharge 2.0 technology, which charges the battery up to 65% in just half an hour. Also, the company has employed the USB Type-C port in its new flagship device along with some amplifier and passive filter to clear audio experience.
Meizu Pro 5 - Key Specifications
Meizu Pro 5, sports a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels along with 2.5D glass, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 Protection, 88-degree viewing angle.
This device is clocked at Octa-Core Samsung Exynos 7420 processor with Mali T760 GPU on board. The Meizu Pro 5 comes in two variants which is 3GB LPDDR4 RAM with 32GB in-built storage/4GB LPDDR4 RAM with 64GB storage, where both can be expandable via microSD card slot.
Moving on, the Pro 5 flaunts a 21.6 MP rear camera with dual tone LED Flash, Laser Auto focus, 4K video recording, 5MP front snapper on board. Talking about the software, this device is shipped with Android 5.1 Lollipop on top of Flyme OS 5.0 out of the box.
In terms of connectivity, Meizu Pro 5 supports 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and others. The whole hardware inside is powered by a 3050mAh battery.
The Meizu Pro 5 comes in Gray, Silver, Silver Black, Golden colors at a price of 2,799 Yuan (approx Rs. 28,900) for 3GB RAM variant and 3,099 Yuan (approx Rs. 32,000) for the 4GB RAM version.
This device is available for order starting from today and will go on sale from October 12. Anyhow, we can expect the roll out of Meizu Pro 5 in India around second half of October.
