Micromax Canvas Nitro 3 with Octa core SoC and 13MP camera launched at Rs 8,130
Micromax has added a new member to its smartphone lineup in the form of the Canvas Nitro 3. The Homegrown brand also launched their 4G offering dubbed the Canvas Xpress 4G alongside this device. Unlike the Canvas Xpress 4G though, the Nitro 4G will be available exclusively via eBay.
The Micromax Nitro 3 E352 is a part of the company's highly successful Nitro lineup. With the Canvas Nitro 3, Micromax has tried out a Mediatek 6592M processor instead of the Qualcomm 415 one found on their previously launched Nitro 4G. Apparently both the processor have the same clock speed - 1.4GHz octa core SoC.
On the front of the Canvas Nitro 3 is a 5 inch HD (1280x720p) IPS display which comes with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Under the hood other than the Mediatek SoC the Nitro 3 sports a 2GB of RAM and a 16GB of internal storage. There's also a slot for memory expansion via MicroSD card slot (upto 32GB).
The back of the Micromax Canvas Nitro 3 sports a 13MP f/2.2 rear camera utilizing an Omnivision OV13850 sensor and a single LED Flash. This is further complimented by a 5MP f/2.2 front facing unit which too uses an Omnivision module - OV5648 to be precise. The smartphone measures a 144.3x72x8.7mm and sports a modest 2500mAh battery on the inside. Sadly, the Canvas Nitro 3 E352 supports only 3G networks. Other connectivity feature include WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and A-GPS.
The Micromax Canvas Nitro 3 E352 comes in Blue colour and is now available via eBay at Rs 8,130. Micromax is also bundling in a leather back case in the box.
