Moto M Will Get Android 7.0 Nougat Treatment Soon, Says the Company
Moto M to receive a Nougat update soon.
It’s been not more than a couple of days since the launch of Moto M in the country and the company had confirmed the Nougat update already.
Moto India (now owned by Lenovo) took it to Twitter to confirm that the update is imminent. Although no specific time frame was mentioned, going by its tweet, the update should be rolled out in the coming weeks. It’s tweet read “The phone is out there, and the nougat update will be out soon.”
Needless to say, Moto M’s unique selling point is its all-metal unibody design. For those who are not in the know, Moto M is the company's first smartphone to don an all-metal body in the budget segment. Speaking of which, the smartphone is priced at Rs. 15,999.
It rocks a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display along with a 2.5D curved glass on top. A 2.2GHz quad-core MediaTek Helio P15 chipset powers the device. It comes in two storage variants — 3GB RAM/32GB storage space and 4GB RAM/64GB storage. You can read this article to know more about the device.
This news comes right after, Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus users finally started receiving the Android 7.0 Nougat update in India.
