Lenovo owned Motorola has recently launched its third generation of Moto X smartphone in two variants: Moto X Style and Moto X Play.
Today the company has announced the Moto X Play smartphone to the India market. The smartphone comes with water repellent coating, and enhanced features like Moto Voice, Moto Display, Moto Assist and Moto Actions.
Motorola Moto X Play, sports a 5.5 inch display with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 (4 x 1.1GHz Cortex A53 + 4 x 1.7GHz Cortex A53) 64-bit processor with Adreno 405 GPU besides 2GB RAM under the hood.
The device flaunts a 21 megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, 1080p video recording, as well as a 5 megapixel front-facing camera.

No Fingerprint Scanner
Now, latest flagship has started rolling out equipped with fingerprint sensor. While, the Moto X Play misses this feature.
The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chipset, that is technically less powerful than the Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 810 chipset. While, many flagship smartphones are powered by the latest Snapdragon 810 CPU.
Thick And A Bit Bulky
The smartphone feels comfortable to hold in hand, but compared to other smartphones in the market. The Moto X Play is bulky. The smartphone measures 148x75x10.9mm and weights 169 grams.
No 4K Video Recording
The company announced two Moto X models, the original model is called as Moto X Style that features the 4K video recording. But, the another model Moto X Play lacks the 4K video recording because of the CPU limitation.
