Motorola Started Rolling Out Android 6.0 Update for Moto E (2nd Gen) 4G

As promised, Motorola has started rolling out the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for Moto E (2nd Gen) 4G in the Indian market. The Android 6.0 Marshmallow update comes as Over-the-Air (OTA) update with code of v24.51.39 for this mobile with a size of 453.9MB, which also includes Android security update.

If the user didn't get the notifications, they can manually check by heading on to Settings > About Phone > System Update.

The Moto E (2nd Gen) 4G comes packed with the 4.5-inch display, Quad-core Snapdragon 410 SoC, 1GB RAM, 8GB inbuilt memory with an expandable option, Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box.

Other features include 5MP rear camera, VGA front camera, 4G connectivity, 2390mAh battery under the hood. Moving to Android 6.0 Marshmallow, this update was announced at the Google I/O on May 28th last year as Android M and later officially launched as Marshmallow on August 17th.

This update comes with lots of features including Google Now on Tap, Fingerprint sensor, Manage your volume, battery management, accurate text selection, Access UI turner and also monitor device memory usage.
