Nokia C1 Leak Tipped to Launch in Windows 10 and Android Variants

The Nokia C1 has been doing the rounds on social networking websites and emails from the past one year. However, a new rendered image of the C1 has surfaced the web. While past rumors suggested that the Smartphone runs android OS, a new image shows that the phone could run Windows 10 OS as well. This suggests that the device could be available in two variants of Android OS and another phone that runs Windows 10 OS.

While the handset on the left shows the device running the Nokia Z launcher for Android, the unit on the right background shows a device running Windows 10 Mobile. The image was leaked via Nokiapoweruser and the user says that the handset will arrive in variants of both Windows 10 and Android. While there is no authenticity of the images, the rumors could be believed.

There is some conflicting data here as image rendering leaked in September shows a smartphone with a rear camera at the centre, while the latest leaked image shows that the rear camera to be on the top-left corner. Nokia is yet to confirm with the leaks or officially announce the Nokia C1.

It is tipped that the Nokia C1 will include a 5" FHD display, a 8MP rear camera and a 5MP selfie shooter. The Nokia C1 will run the Android 6.0 Marshmallow as well. Previous rumors suggest that the Nokia C1 will be powered by the Intel chipset and have a 2GB ram.

Since its acquisition by Microsoft, Nokia will not be able to sell devices under its brand name and will have to brand its devices under Microsoft. The company which once had the largest market share for mobile phones lost its position to Apple and Android.

The leaked image render for the Nokia C1 shows the handset in White, Gold, Pink, and Grey color variants besides two more units.
