Carl Pei's smartphone company OnePlus has launched its 16GB variant of OnePlus 2 in the Indian market at a price of Rs. 22,999. Initially, the company has introduced its second flagship, dubbed as OnePlus 2 in July last year with 64GB of inbuilt memory accompanied by 4GB RAM under the hood.
When compared to the 64GB variant, only the storage and RAM varies, while the other specifications remain the same.
Reiterating the specifications, the successor of OnePlus One comes with 5.5-inch Full HD IPS In-Cell display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The device is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 810 64-bit processor with Adreno 430 GPU.
On the storage front, this flagship is now available in two variants - 3GB RAM/16GB ROM and 4GB RAM/64GB ROM, with out any expansion option. Further, this device is shipped with Android 5.1 Lollipop on top of Oxygen OS out of the box.
Talking about the camera department, the OnePlus 2 flaunts a 13MP rear camera with dual LED Flash, Laser Auto focus, OIS, 4K video recording, slow-motion at 120fps and 5MP on the front. This dual SIM supported device also comes supported with Fingerprint scanner inside.
OnePlus 2 is backed with connectivity options including 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4/5 GHz), WiFi Direct, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS, USB Type-C. The above hardware is powered by a 3300mAh battery on board.
Like the 64GB variant, the OnePlus 2 16GB variant is available exclusively on the e-retail store Amazon India with a price tag of Rs. 22,999.
