OnePlus 2 Gets OxygenOS 2.2.0 Update: Here Is What's New!
As per the lastest announcement on the Oneplus forum, the Chinese smartphone maker has brought an update to it's flagship killer smartphone OnePlus 2. Yes, some handsets have started receiving OS update version 2.2.0 starting this week.
Reportedly, the Chinese company has rolled out OxygenOS 2.2.0 update over-the-air (OTA). However, this update will be take sometime to reach all users including India.
Meanwhile, users can manually check for the new update by going to device Settings >> About Phone >> System Updates on their OnePlus 2 smartphone.
The latest update comes almost a month after the OxygenOS 2.1.2 was released for OnePlus 2 and OnePlus X devices. The latest update OxygenOS 2.2.0 update for OnePlus 2 fixes several bugs and also comes with UI enhancement, new wallpapers and more.
Dual SIM preference
The Dual SIM preference in the OnePlus 2 is really annoying. Hence, the latest update fixes the selection issues in settings.
Camera bugs got fixed
The latest Oxygen 2.2.0 fixes the Google Camera photo-sphere and panorama bugs that were present in the earlier version.
Screen temperature
The latest update brings screen temperature adjustment option directly from quick settings.
Other features
OnePlus has also included NTFS and exFAT support for OTG, added hide search bar option in launcher settings, security patches, holiday wallpapers, general bug fixes and optimizations.

Furthermore, we expect that the update might also hit the OnePlus's latest offering OnePlus X.
Late last month, the OnePlus X also received the OxygenOS 2.1.3 OTA update along with OnePlus 2, that focused on improving the user experience, SD card support bug fixes, security patches and more.
