OnePlus X to be officially launched in India tomorrow: What specs to expect?

OnePlus is all set to host an event in India tomorrow. The company hints so at the launch of the OnePlus X which also goes by the name OnePlus Mini. The company had earlier teased the launch of its smartphone slated for the 29th October India release of the OnePlus X aka OnePlus Mini. The company will also launch phones in London, Beijing, and Jakarta and other cities around the world.

"See you on October 29, India.", the Company posted on its Facebook and Twitter pages. The teaser shows an image of a large ‘X, indicating that the device might be named ‘OnePlus X'.

The company posted a message on its Chinese website stating that it would start reserving seats for attendees for the October 29th event, scheduled at 4:30PM IST.

According to the report that appeared on Android Headlines, the smartphone was recently certified in China by 3C as the OnePlus E1001. The report states that the device is likely to run the Oxygen OS, with IP67 certification for being resistant to water and dust. The device is likely to to fall in the $250 price range.

The report adds that an unknown device having model number E1001 was spotted during the China 3C certification. The same was later later appeared on the FCC listings, denoting further that it could actually be the OnePlus X."

Past reports suggest that the device is expected to have a MediaTek Helio X10 (MT6795T) SoC, 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM, 5-inch IPS display protected by a 2.5D Gorilla Glass 3 or 4, 32 GB of eMMC 5.0 storage expandable via microSDXC and a 3,000-3,100 mAh non-removable Li-Po battery.

The device is also expected to come with a USB Type-C connector with Quick Charge 2.0, FM radio, a MT6630 wireless SoC, Bluetooth 4.1, an IR Blaster, 1.2W front-facing speaker, and an NFC for Android Pay.
