Oppo today launched a budget smartphone, Joy 3, in India. The smartphone will be available at Oppo Stores and retail outlets for Rs. 7,990.

The smartphone sports a 4.5 inch IPS display, powered by a MediaTek MT6582M chipset, clocked at 1.3GHz quad-core processor, paired with 1GB of RAM and runs on Android 4.4 operating system along with ColorOS 2.0.1 skin on top.

Commenting on the launch of Joy 3 Tom Lu, CEO, OPPO Mobiles India said "OPPO Joy 3 is a successor of Joy Plus which combines appearance, fine camera quality at an affordable price. It features a 5MP primary camera and a 2MP secondary selfie shooter. The camera comes with its very own Pure Image 2.0+ imaging technology offering users a great photography capabilities. It comes with 4GB internal storage that can be further expandable up to 32GB and supports dual-SIM.

The smartphone is packed with 2000mAh battery and comes in two color options: one with matte Grey finish and another in white.
