Reliance LYF Wind 5 with 4G Launched at Rs 6,599: Specs, Price, Competition and More

Reliance Digital is adding many smartphones to its LYF portfolio. While it lately launched a few LYF Flame series, now it has launched the LYF Wind 5 that is priced at Rs 6,599.

The Reliance LYF Wind 5 smartphone is available in White and Black color options and it can be purchased via the Reliance channels across the country.

Going by the USP of the LYF lineup of smartphones, the Lyf Wind 5 also supports the high-speed 4G VoLTE connectivity. The specifications of the LYF Wind 5 are almost similar to those of the LYF Wind 4 except for the front camera improvement.

The LYF Wind 5 smartphone boasts a 5-inch HD 720p display and it is powered by a 1 GHz MediaTek MT6735P quad-core 64-bit processor that is teamed up with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB of native storage support that can be expanded up to 32 GB.

When it comes to the imaging hardware, the LYF Wind 5 smartphone sports an 8 MP rear camera that has autofocus and supports HD video recording. There is also a 5 MP front-facing selfie shooter on board. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system.

The connectivity aspects of the LYF Wind 5 smartphone include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and USB OTG. It is a dual-SIM smartphone like the rest in the LYF lineup. A 2,000 mAh battery energizes the smartphone rendering 6.5 hours of talk time and 140 hours of standby time.
