Heard of the recently unveiled unhackable, unbreakable and waterproof smartphone called the Turning Phone? The device is built by a US company called the Turing Robotics Industries.
The company today finally made the device available for ‘reservation' via their company website. The Turing Phone will be available in three colors variants namely the Beowolf, Pharaoh and the Cardinal. This is merely a ‘reservation' though, so don't confuse it with pre-order. In fact as of now no further details are available on when and how to ‘buy' the device. For reserving their device users will be required to enter the contact details via a contact form.
Nevertheless all three color variants will be available in 16, 64 and 128GB storage variants priced at $610/ Rs 39,000, $740/Rs 47,300 and $870/Rs 55,700 respectively. So far it seems that the company have ditched the 32GB variant that they had officially announced during the unveiling of the device.
To recall, the Turing Phone developed by the San Fransisco based company had a 5.5 inch display with no USB or headphone jack. In fact the device is made up of an unconventional materal called liquidmorphium. The material is stronger than steel and aluminium when hardness is considered. Apparently it seems to be the next big thin in the smartphone industry.
The device will feature a fingerprint sensor too on a rather unconventional location i.e. the side of the phone. The smartphone's end to end encryption is built into most of the core apps on the phone. And yes, the smartphone is also waterproof! How? The phone is designed in a way such that water enters into the body of the device, as soon as you drop it in water. But don't worry it won't harm your device as you can simply shake the water away!
