Back in January, we reported that a variant of Samsung Galaxy A9 dubbed as Galaxy A9 Pro is in making. Now this handset has entered the Indian boundaries for a final stage of testing.
According to SamMobile, the Galaxy A9 Pro with model number SM-A9100 was recently imported to India. The device is listed with a 6-inch display, which is similar to the Galaxy A9 that was launched late last year.
The device was imported into Delhi and Bangalore on January 28 and February 2, respectively.
As of now, none of the specs of the Galaxy A9 Pro 2016 have emerged. It is expected that the Korean Electronics giant would bump up the specs of the existing smartphone, especially in the chipset department.
However, The listing confirms that the screen size of the device will be 6-inch with 1440p panel compared to the 1080p panel on the A9. It is expected to have 4GB of RAM instead of the 3GB RAM on the A9.
Initially, some reports suggested that the A9 Pro could be available only in China. However now, rumours indicate that the device could be a higher end variant of the A9 or just a Windows Phone variant of the same.
