The Samsung Galaxy J3 smartphone was listed on the Geekbench website last month. The Samsung Galaxy J3 has passed its FCC hurdle and is awaiting announcement for its launch. However, it is early to make guesses as the the certification documents do not reveal much except that the device, carries a model number - SM-J3109, and that it has been tested for 3G, 2G, and LTE.
The Geekbench listing had revealed that the handset is powered by a Snapdragon 410 SoC with a 64-bit Cortex-A53 CPU. The phone has a 5-inch 720p display and comes with 1GB RAM and 8GB expandable internal memory.
The Samsung Galaxy J3 is the successor to the Galaxy J2 which was launched this year in September. The Galaxy J2 has a 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front shooter. The smartphone currently runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop straight out of the box.
