Samsung has launched two new smartphones to its Galaxy J lineup, dubbed as the Galaxy J5 and the Galaxy J7 in India.
Both smartphones come with a user-friendly design language to enable users with a comfortable grip while operating or playing a game on the phone. With a slim design, the Galaxy J5 measures 7.9mm, while the Galaxy J7 measures 4/5mm.
The Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 also comes with anti-smudge anodized CMF coating, which gives the devices a premium and stylish feel. Both models are available in white and black color option.
Samsung Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 will be exclusively available through its online retail partner, Flipkart. The Galaxy J5 is priced at Rs.11,999 and the Galaxy J7 is priced at Rs. 14,999. Both smartphones can be pre-booked from 16 July to 23 July. Samsung has also offering a flip cover worth Rs. 999 at Rs. 199 only for a limited time period.
The South Korean smartphone giant has also partnered with Airtel to provide an introductory offer for 4G users which will include double data offer. Users can also get unlimited music download worth Rs. 594 through Wynk Music app for a period of 6 months.
The Samsung Galaxy J5 is a smaller version with a 5 inch display at 720p resolution. The smartphone is powered by a quad-core chipset, paired 1.5GB of RAM. It comes with a 2600mAH battery that will keep juice up the device up to 342 hours of standby time.
On the other hand, the Galaxy J7 is the larger sibling of Galaxy J5. The smartphone comes with a 5.5 inch display, powered by a octa-core processor and packed with 3,000mAh battery.
The Galaxy J5 and the Galaxy J7 holds a 5 megapixel wide-angle front-facing cameras and equipped with a front-facing single-LED flash. Both smartphones comes with a 13 megapixel rear camera with f/1.9 aperture, 16GB internal storage and a microSD card slot to expand memory.
