Samsung Galaxy Note 7 to feature 3600mAh battery: 7 Reasons why You should wait for it!

Samsung is all set to unveil its much awaited Galaxy Note 7 smartphone in its Note series of top-of-the-line devices. Rumors and conjectures have already spilled the beans and given us information about the possible technical specifications of the premium ranges Samsung Galaxy Note 7 smartphone.

Going by the rumors, the phone seems to be the most powerful Samsung Note smartphone ever. Previous rumors suggested that the phone will run on a 4000mAh battery, but a new report from Russian blogger Eldar Murtazin (via) suggests a change in battery capacity.

The same report also confirms that Samsung will be launching its new generation Note smartphone on August 2, which is in line with previous reports. Here we take a look at the top 7 rumored specifications and features that are likely to come on the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 7.

A 3600mAh battery instead of rumored 4000mAh!

Starting with the battery, the new report claims that Samsung Note 7 will contain a 3,600mAh battery, negating the previously rumored 4000mAh battery. That would be a 20% improvement in the battery capacity over the 3000mAh battery on last year's Samsung Galaxy Note 5.

A big display:

A latest report suggested that the Galaxy Note 7 will feature a 5.7-inch AMOLED display offering QHD 2K resolution, the same as the Galaxy Note 5, instead of the previously rumored 5.8-inch display which would have been slightly bigger than the last year's Note device.

A new chipset on board:

We are not sure, but rumors have it that the upcoming Note will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon or Exynos chipset, depending on the region. The CPU may as well be paired with 6GB of RAM.

More storage capacity with microSD card:

Samsung dropped the microSD card slot on the Galaxy Note 5, but the upcoming Galaxy Note 7 is expected to arrive packed with 64 GB of internal storage space expandable further on misroSD card.

Dual pixel camera:

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is expected to boast a 12MP rear facing camera with dual-pixel phase detection autofocus technology. Up front, there might be a 5MP camera to take care of your selfies.

Water and dust friendly:

Reports have also suggested that the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will be IP68 certified, just like the Samsung Galaxy S7, which will make it water and dust resistant. The phone is expected to be submerged in more than 1 meter (3.2 feet) of water for up to 30-minutes without damage.

Iris Scanner along with fingerprint scanner:

The upcoming Galaxy Note device is speculated to feature an iris scanner, which will make it easy to verify the user for mobile payments and to unlock the device. However, the company is likely to retain the fingerprint scanner as well.
