Samsung Galaxy On5 with 5-inch HD display, 4G LTE listed on Samsung India website

Samsung Galaxy On series smartphone, which was certified by the TENAA of China has been seen listed on the Samsung India website, recently. The Samsung Galaxy On5 is goes by the model number SM-G550F.

The Galaxy On5 with its 5-inch HD with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels screen. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core Exynos 3475 processor along with 1.5GB of RAM and Mali-T720 GPU and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. The devices comes with an 8 MP rear camera with LED flash that supports 1080p recording while the front-facing camera is a 5MP.

For connectivity options it includes a dual sim support for 4G LTE - Band 3 and Band 40 as well as 3G HSPA, Wi-Fi of 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.1. It packed an internal memory of 8GB with a memory slot that is expandable up to 128 GB through microSD. It also comes with a 2600mAh battery.

The phone has a dimension of 142.3 x 72.1 x 8.5mm and weighs about 149g. The Samsung Galaxy On5 will be available in Gold and Black colors.

The back cover has a leather like feeling to it.The official launch is expected in the weeks to come, with no details on the pricing as of yet. Samsung is also expected to launch the Galaxy On7 smartphone as part of the Galaxy On series.
