Samsung is all set for its Unpacked event on August 13, where it is expected to announce the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 Edge+. Ever since the South Korean giant hinted the Unpacked event, we have seen many rumors and leaks abound online about the Galaxy S6 Edge+.
However, there is no confirmation that Samsung plan on announcing the Galaxy S6 Edge+. But, rumors match up with the name and likely to be a phablet-sized device.

Design
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ is likely to have the similar design to the Galaxy S6 Edge. The rumored smartphone will also come with glass back, a metal frame and curves on both sides.
Display
The Galaxy Edge+ is likely to come with bigger screen size. It is expected to sport a 5.7 inch display and will have either 1400x2560 or 1600x2560 pixel resolution. However, earlier rumors suggested that it will come with a 5.5 inch Super AMOLED display.
Under the hood
Earlier rumors pointed that the S6 Edge+ will be powered by a hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor, just like the one in LG G4. The rest, will probably be same, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
Camera
The only camera rumors that we came across is that the Galaxy S6 Edge+ will flaunts a 16 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front-facing camera.
Battery
So far there is no word on the size of the battery. However, with all the extra space it is expected to be bigger than the 2,600mAh, which is in the Galaxy S6 Edge.
OS
A leaked image of the Galaxy S6 Edge+ shows that the device running Android 5.1 Lollipop, which is not surprising. However, it will come with TouchWiz UI on top.
Release date
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ is likely to be unveiled on August 13 at an official Samsung Unpacked event. Samsung has already sends out press invite for its Unpacked event.
