After launching the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 in India two weeks ago, Samsung now slashed the prices of their flagship smartphones by Rs. 5,000 in India.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 which was earlier available for Rs. 48,400 is now available for Rs. 43,400. On the other hand, the Galaxy S7 Edge is now available for Rs. 50,900 which was earlier selling for Rs. 55,900.

The price cut is already effective in the country and the smartphones are already available from online portals such as Flipkart, Amazon India at the discounted price.

To recall the Galaxy S7 boasts of a 5.1-inch QHD display. Under the hood, there is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset along with 4GB of RAM and Adreno 530 GPU. There is a 12MP rear camera along with a LED flash and a 5MP front-facing shooter up front to cover up the selfies. All this package is backed by a 3,000mAh battery.

The Galaxy S7 Edge features a 5.5-inch QHD display. The S7 Edge is also powered by the same Snapdragon 820 chipset with 4GB of RAM. The same 12MP rear camera can be found on the rear and a 5MP shooter is on the front. The battery capacity on the smartphone is 3,600mAh.
