It was only last week when South Korean tech giant -- Samsung officially started teasing about its upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event to be held on August 13.
While the smartphone maker didn't reveal any details about what they're going to launch on the D-day, however the tech industry has gossiped a lot and are pretty sure that the upcoming event will unveiled the much-awaited Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and next variant of 2015 flagship - Galaxy S6 Edge Plus.
Recently, Samsung also sent a reminder to the tech media world about the upcoming event by telling the world to "Note" the date -- August 13. This is a very clear hint to see a brand new Galaxy Note 5.
Even the image along with the virtual invitation flaunts the contour of a device with an S Pen slot.
Rumor also has it that besides Note 5, Samsung will likely also unveil the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, a similarly-sized handset that shouldn't feature an S Pen, but it will come as a larger variant of the S6 Edge, that was launched in February earlier this year.
Samsung Galaxy Note 5 - Rumored Specifications
As per the previous leaks, the Galaxy Note 5 is said to come with S Pen like its predecessor. Moreover, the yet to be released device is expected to sport a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED Quad HD display.
According to the leak, the Note 5 will be powered by its home-baked Exynos 7422 chipset along with 4GB LPDDR4 RAM. On the imaging factor, this device might feature a 16MP rear camera, 8MP front facing camera. And, it is said to be powered 3220mAh battery under the hood.

Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus is expected to come packed with 5.67-inch Super AMOLED Quad HD display with curved edges, Exynos 7420 processor, 3GB RAM and 16MP rear camera.
