Putting an end to the leaks and speculations, the South Korean giant Samsung has announced its new smartphone with metal body under Galaxy C series.
Dubbed as Galaxy C5, this smartphone measures 6.7mm thickness and comes with comes with NFC support for Samsung Pay.

Talking about the design, the so-called Galaxy C5 comes with a blend of Oppo F1 Plus and HTC One M9 smartphones. This metal clad is available in four variants -- Gold, Pink Gold, Grey and Silver colors.
As you can see, the fingerprint is integrated into the home button below the display. With this major overhaul, premium design seems to be a heavy focus for the Korean giant this year.
Galaxy C series is primarily meant for the Chinese market!
Talking about the specifications, the Galaxy C5 sports a 5.2-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display with 1920×1080 pixels. The hardware department is taken care of Octa-Core Snapdragon 617 processor with Adreno 405 as GPU.
Right pricing could lift Galaxy C line-up!
In terms of storage, the Galaxy C5 is accompanied by 4GB RAM, 32GB/64GB inbuilt memory with expandable option upto 128GB via MicroSD card slot. Moreover, the Galaxy C5 comes with a hybrid dual SIM slot that lets you use the second slot as a MicroSD card slot.
Falling in line with the previous leak, the Galaxy C5 flaunts a 16MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and f/1.9 aperture. On the front we have the 8MP camera on the top sitting next to proximity sensor.

Talking about the form factor, this device measures a 6.7mm thick and weighs around 143grams. Also it supports connectivity options such as 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4 + 5GHz), Bluetooth v 4.2, GPS, NFC. The entire hardware is powered by a 2600mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0.
As of now, the Galaxy C5 smartphone is available in China and hopefully the exclusivity will not be permanent. Priced at 2199 yuan (approx Rs. 22,520) for the 32GB variant and 2399 yuan (approx Rs. 24,555) for the 64GB version, it is now available for pre-order on online stores in China and will go on sale starting from June 17th.
