Sony to Launch Xperia Z5, Z5 Compact and Z5 Prime Smartphones on Sept. 2

Confirming its berth in the upcoming major tech event IFA 2015 in Berlin next week, the Japan-based tech giant Sony has already made the press conference on September 2nd official via it's Twitter account.

Now as per latest leaks and reports, guesses are being made by the tech insiders that Sony will unveil three smartphones at the said event including Sony Xperia Z5, Z5 Compact and Z5 Prime. Reportedly, a Z5 will come with 1080p display, a Z5 Compact with a 4.6" 720p panel, and a Z5 Prime with a 5.5" 2160p UltraHD display.

At the same time, all the three Xperia Z5 phones are expected to introduce a new 23MP camera with 1/2.2" sensor, f/1.8 aperture, improved autofocus and optical image stabilization. They are also expected to pack fingerprint sensors. The leak has come from Sony's Georgia account on Facebook.

Also, it seems that there would be a single 32GB storage option with no Micro SD expansion slot. Moreover, the numerous reports suggest that the Z5 will be priced quite high at $919 (approx Rs. 58,706).

But at the end of the day, these are still rumours as of now and do take them with a pinch of salt. Currently, there's no official confirmation on the above details. However, come September 2ns and Sony will take the lids off its new Xperia range.
