Sony to follow Apple’s footsteps and unveil a ‘Pink’ Xperia device on Jan 12

Sony, according to a series of official teasers posted on Instagram is all set to unveil a new Xperia smartphone on Jan 12. The series of five teasers which were posted by the Japanese OEM during the past five days indicate that the alleged Xperia device will come in a pink colour variant.

While it's still not clear which device is in store at the event, some tipsters hint that Sony may launch a Pink variant of their latest Xperia Z5 flagship. Off late the Rose Gold colour has shot to fame among smartphone buyers thanks to the introduction of the introduction of the Apple iPhone 6S.

As a matter of fact many a manufacturers including Samsung has launched Rose Gold variant of their flagship devices Galaxy Note 5 soon after. Hence it won't be a surprise to see Sony join the party, is it?

In yet another happening a Rose Gold variant of a Sony C series smartphone have emerged, which makes tipsters believe that it is the alleged device that in store on Jan 12. This might however be true, considering the fact that Sony has chosen Instagram in place of Twitter to promote their upcoming smartphone. And isn't the Xperia C series aimed at the recent generation of selfie crazy youth?
