Sony is all gearing up for the IFA tech event which is scheduled to be held in Berlin on September 1. Now a new smartphone from the company receives FCC Certification and Sony might launch this smartphone at the same event.
There aren't many details regarding the smartphone. But, the FCC Certified leak shows that the smartphone is codenamed as Kugo along with model number 14784Z.
The smartphone might boast of a 5.2-inch FHD display and USB Type-C port. If the rumors are believed to be true, this might be the first Sony smartphone to feature a Type-C port.
The Kugo also received the WiFi and Bluetooth certifications. The smartphone might feature a 2700mAh battery and Snapdragon 820 chipset along with 4GB of RAM.
It is interesting to see how Sony takes on the pricing for this device as the company is heavily criticised for their pricing strategy.
That's all for Sony Kugo. And, in the same event, Sony might be launching another smartphone with build number F8331, which will be the company's flagship smartphone sporting a unique design and 4K video recording capabilities for both front and back cameras. Also, the smartphone will come with USB Type-C port along with FHD display.
However, both the smartphones are different as they have a different model numbers. As of now, take all these details with a pinch of salt. The event is scheduled to happen on September 1 which is not too far away. We might get more details regarding both the smartphones in coming days.
