Xiaomi's next flagship smartphone, the Mi 5, was leaked for a quite sometime now. The company has teased a new smartphone announcement event on Chinese social networking site, Weibo.
A new leaked image of the upcoming Mi 5 claims that the handset will come with a curved glass back similar to the Samsung's latest Galaxy Note 5.
The Mi 5 is highly speculated and rumored to features fingerprint scanner, Snapdragon 820 processor and much more. The company has not confirmed the launch date for its next flagship. Xiaomi Mi 5: Curved Back
The Chinese micro-blogging website, Weibo user by the name @KJuma, has leaked an image of the Xiaomi Mi 5 showing the back of the device. The leaked image clearly show that the smartphone will come with a curved back on both sides similar to the Galaxy Note 5
Xiaomi Mi 5: Fingerprint
According to earlier report, Xiaomi's next flagship will be equipped with fingerprint scanner along with powerful specs. Unfortunately, there are no details about how the fingerprint scanner will work on the handset.
Xiaomi Mi 5: Processor and OS
The Mi 5 is believed to run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor. But rumors pointed that the Xiaomi Mi 5 will be powered by a Snapdragon 820 SoC and paired with 4GB of RAM. The Mi 5 will be among the first few smartphones to be powered by Snapdragon 820 SoC, which is yet to be announced by Qualcomm and will run on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with MIUI on top.

There is much speculation that the Mi 5 will be equipped with a 16 megapixel primary camera and an 8 megapixel front-facing camera.

The rumored Mi 5 will come with in two models, just like the current flagship Mi 4. The Mi 5 will be featuring a 16GB and 64GB of internal memory and might be come with option to expand memory.
