The Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has managed to establish themselves firmly in the budget smartphone segment in India. The company has released feature-rich smartphone with great hardware at an affordable price.
Xiaomi's next flagship smartphone, the Mi 5, was leaked for a quite sometime now. The company has teased a new smartphone announcement event on Chinese social networking site, Weibo. Recently a leaked image of the upcoming Mi 5 claims that the handset will come with a curved glass back similar to the Samsung's latest Galaxy Note 5.
Now, the latest leak confirms that the Mi 5 will be powered by Snapdragon 820 processor. While, a report by Xiaomi Today says that the Xiaomi Mi 5 is said to be the first handset to debut the new and advanced chipset and fingerprint scanner.

Latest report claims that Xiaomi Mi 5 will be powered by a Snapdragon 820 SoC and paired with 4GB of RAM and will run on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with MIUI on top.. The Mi 5 will be among the first few smartphones to be powered by Snapdragon 820 SoC, which is yet to be announced by Qualcomm.
