It makes sense for the Mi 7 to equip the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC as its predecessor - the Mi 6 that was launched in the last year came up with the Snapdragon 835 SoC that was the flagship chipset back then. Besides the powerful processor, the smartphone is expected to feature high-end specs and a premium design too.

Xiaomi Mi 7 is believed to be unveiled in two variants - one with 6GB RAM and the other with 8GB RAM. The Mi 6 came with dual rear cameras so it would not be surprising to see such a camera setup on its successor as well. The Mi 7 is believed to arrive with vertically stacked dual cameras at its rear and a flash positioned between the cameras. Up front, it is said to have a 13MP selfie camera.
