Last Week, Xiaomi President and Co-founder, Lin Bin posted a teaser image on Weibo saying that the Redmi Note series smartphone will be unveiled on November 24th. Rumors were abuzz that the teaser hinted at a Redmi Note 2 Pro, but today there seems to have been a new development. Xiaomi has confirmed that the new device would be a Redmi Note 2, a successor to the Redmi Note 2 that was introduced in August.
Xiaomi had released another teaser image showing that the Redmi Note 3 is available in three variants - Gold, Silver and Grey. The Redmi Note 3 has unibody metal build. The teaser has revealed that the smartphone has a fingerprint sensor on the back.

Redmi Note 3 has a 5.5" Full HD IPS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Their Redmi Note 3 could be powered by a 2GHz Octa-Core MediaTek Helio X10 (MT6795) processor with PowerVR G6200 GPU. It could also have a memory of 2GB/ 3GB LPDDR3 RAM and could come in 16GB and 32 GB variants with expandable memory via microSD.
The Redmi Note 3 also has a MIUI 7 based on Androdi 5.0 Lollipop with a Dual SIM. It also has got a 13MP rear camera with dual tone LED Flash and a 5MP front-facing flash. The phone is expected to weigh around 165.97 grams and have dimension of 149.98x78.96x8.75mm. Connectivity options are likely to include the usual connectivity options observed in most of the phones. This includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac/b/g/n (2.4 / 5Ghz), Bluetooth 4.0, GPS + GLONASS.
The Redmi Note 3 is expected to be faster than its predecessor, The Redmi Note 2 which was powered by is the the 2.2GHz Helio X10 SoC and 32GB internal storage.
