The Chinese smartphone maker, Xiaomi is buzzing the smartphone market with its more affordable and powerful smartphone. The company is famous for making budget smartphone at a comparatively cheaper price.
Xiaomi Redmi series smartphones are known for its rich features at budget price. Earlier this month, the company has launched a mid-ranger - Redmi Note Prime. But it looks like Xiaomi is planning an another budget smartphone to their Redmi series.
The unannounced Xiaomi device has passed through China's TENNA regulatory agency and it is predict that the device could be Xiaomi Redmi 3. The regulatory agency has revealed photos and specifications of the upcoming device.
According to the TENNA listing, the unannounced Xiaomi Redmi 3 will sport a 5 inch display with 1280x720 pixels resolution. It will be powered by the octa-core 1.5GHz processor by Qualcomm and will be paired with 2GB of RAM.
In the camera department, the Redmi 3 will have either 13 megapixel or 8 megapixel rear camera with LED Flash and will have a 5 megapixel front-facing camera. The handset will have a 16GB of internal storage and can be expandable up to 32GB using a microSD card.
Talking about the design, the smartphone looks similar to Redmi 2 Prime with a bigger display. While, the back looks completely different with speaker grill in the bottom. If the specifications and the images are to be believed than, the Xiaomi Redmi 3 will be priced around Rs. 7,000 to Rs. 10,000.
Well, compared to its predecessor, the Redmi 3 has a larger 5 inch display with octa-core CPU. While, the Redmi 2 has a 4.7 inch display at the same resolution and a quad-core processor. Meanwhile, there is no official word about the release date and the global availability.
