Micromax's Yu Televentures is all set to unveil a new smartphone at an event today in New Delhi. Just about hours ahead of the launch, an unannounced Yu smartphone, dubbed the Yu Yunique, has been spotted on Snapdeal. This is an ultra-budget smartphone that has been priced at Rs 4,999 and will be available in a flash sale model, as mentioned on the ecommerce site.
In terms of specifications, the Yunique features a 4.7-inch HD IPS display with 720×120 pixels resolution, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The phone is powered by a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 410 quad-core chipset with 64-bit processing, paired with Adreno 306 GPU.
Sas for storage space, there is 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of inbuilt space expandable through a microSD card.
In the camera department, it flaunts an 8-megapixel autofocus f/2.0 rear camera with LED flash, and a 2-megapixel selfie camera with 83 degrees wide angle lens.
The phone ships with Cyanogen 12.1 OS based on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.
Other features include a 2,000mAh battery, and connectivity options like dual-SIM card slots, 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS.

Priced at Rs 4,999, the Yu Yunique will go on sale on September 15. For the customers, registration windows for the sale of the phone will be open till 8:00PM on September 14.
Those interested can buy the phone with additional back shells, available in Serene White and Moonstone Grey colors, for Rs 5,499.
