Chinese smartphone makers aren't stopping themselves from stepping onto the Marshmallow bandwagon. With recently incepted Chinese company ZUK offering the Marshmallow update for its device, it was time for other Chinese brands to step forward.
Apparently it seems that ZOPO was the earliest of the Chinese brands to make a move. The company has now announced that they will be rolling over the Marshmallow update to a range of existing devices. The list of supported devices include the ZOPO Speed 7, Speed 7 Plus, Speed 7 GP, Color E and Color C.
ZOPO has also revealed that the aforementioned devices will receive the Marshmallow update by year end. However they are yet to give a specific time frame. Nevertheless the first quarter time frame for the update is similar to that announced by Honor a week back.
ZOPO Speed 7 is the only device from the company that is officially available for sale in India via Snapdeal at Rs 12,999. The Speed 7 sports a 5" Full HD (1920x1080p) display with an octa core Mediatek 6753 SoC under the hood. This is complimented by 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. There's also an option for memory expansion via MicroSD card slot.
