Nexus 7 32GB 3G, Wi-Fi Variants Now Official at Rs 21999, Rs 18999: Tablets Already Available Online
So far, the Indian market was neglected by Google and now it seems like the search engine in giant is in a full swing to launch the Nexus devices in the country.
Back in November 2012, Google unveiled the 32GB variant of the Nexus 7 tablet and discontinued its 8GB version. Now, following the launch of the 16GB Nexus 7 via Play Store, Asus has officially, announced the 32GB variant in India. Both the 3G and Wi-Fi variants of the 32GB Nexus 7 are launched at Rs 21,999 and Rs 18,999 respectively.
It is to be noted that in November 2012, Asus started selling the 16GB Wi-Fi only Nexus 7 models in limited quantities via the Croma retail stores for a price of Rs 19,990.
Speaking of the specifications, Google Nexus 7 sports a 7 inch 10 point multi-touch IPS display with 1280 x 800 resolution, quad core 1.2GHz Nvidia Tegra 3 processor, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS, 1GB RAM, 16GB/32GB internal storage, 1.2MP front camera, WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC connectivity and a 4,325 mAh battery.

Initially launched with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS, the Nexus 7 has received the official Android 4.2 Jelly Bean upgrade and users who decide to avail the same can immediately upgrade the device via OTA updates.
Nexus 7 will receive improved stability and performance, security features, expandable, actionable notifications and easy personalization of the home screen apart from the features of Android 4.2 including Photo Sphere, Gesture Typing, Miracast, Daydream and more.
While the 32GB variant Nexus 7 has been made official only now, several online retailers have already listed the imported model of the same. One of the reliable websites - Junglee has claimed that it has four sellers offering the 32GB Wi-Fi only variant of the tablet.
Commenting at the launch Peter Chang, Regional Head - South Asia & Country Manager, System Business Group, Asus India said, "We are elated to announce the most awaited ASUS Nexus 7 to the Indian consumers.
