Nokia 114 Dual SIM Feature Phone Launched in India: Top 5 Rivals of Handset

Nokia India website listed a dual SIM handset dubbed as Nokia 114 with a 1.8 inch TFT display with a resolution of 128 x 160 pixels, 16MB internal storage, 64MB mass memory, micro SD card supporting up to 32GB additional storage, 0.3MP rear camera, Nokia's Series 40 platform, Bluetooth 2.1, GPRS, EDGE and 1,020 mAh BL-5C battery offering up to 10.5 hours talktime and 637 hours standby.

As of now, there is no information on the price and availability of the dual SIM Nokia 114, however, analysts predict that it could be launched in near future with a price tag of Rs 2,500 approximately.

Intex Aura

Intex Technologies launched a dual SIM feature phone dubbed as Aura designed to suit the consumers who are seeking to have a device will a strong battery backup.

Aura features a display of unknown size and 240 x 320 pixel resolution, 1.3MP rear camera, a micro SD card slot supporting up to 16GB expandable storage option, Bluetooth with A2DP, GPRS/WAP and a USB port for connecting with PC and is loaded with a 1,800 mAh battery delivering up to 5 hours talk time and 360 hours standby.

Intex has priced Aura at Rs 1,690 and the handset is available in three color options including red, white and black.

With a lesser price tag, better camera and strong battery backup, Aura could be a stiff competitor to Nokia 114.

iBall Fab 22e

iBall has also launched a new dual SIM feature phone - Fab 22e. The dual SIM feature phone will retail for just Rs 1,499 in India. The handset sports a 2.4 inch with a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels, faster 312MHz processor, 1.3MP rear camera, micro SD card slot supporting up to 8GB expandable storage support and 2,200 mAh battery capable of offering up to 8.5 hours to 9 hours talk time.

Priced at Rs 1,499, Fab 22e has a larger display and better resolution and better camera as compared to Nokia 114.

Lemon T109

Lemon Mobiles has launched a new handset dubbed as Lemon T109 for Rs 2,999, which has an user interface that is quite similar to that of Windows Phone 8, however, the handset is a touchscreen feature phone and not a smartphone.

As far as specs are concerned, T109 is based on Java and sports a 3.7 inch touchscreen display, which larger than the displays in other feature phones. The dual SIM handset comes with 1.3MP rear camera, micro SD card slot supporting up to 16GB, Bluetooth and a 1,200 mAh battery.

With a touchscreen display, better camera, larger display and a slightly higher price tag, Lemon T109 could be a potential rival to Nokia 114.

Videocon V1544

Videocon has also launched a lineup of handsets in order to foray into the booming tech market. V1544 is one such dual SIM 2.6 inch phone with 240 x 320 pixel resolution, super strong battery 3,000 mAh battery with 18 hours talk time and 21 days standby, 1.3MP camera and video wallpaper support.

V1544 is available for a price of Rs 2,399 and it can pose a threat to the dual SIM Nokia offering with its super strong battery and large display.

Samsung Guru Music

Samsung is all set to strengthen its entry-level mobile phone offerings with the launch of Samsung Guru Music featuring dual SIM functionality allowing users to enjoy the service of multiple carrier networks within a single device.

Also, the handset comes with 1.7 inch TFT display with 128 x 160 pixel resolution, micro SD card slot supporting up to 4GB additional storage support, Bluetooth, GPRS and 1,000 mAh battery providing 12 hours talk time and 660 hours standby.

Moreover, with a price tag of Rs 1,730 and entertainment features, the Samsung offering could be a competitor of Nokia 114 with similar specs and a slightly higher price tag.
