Nokia Lumia PureView 41MP EOS Confirmed for July 11 Launch: 5 Definite Features to Expect
Everyone was expecting Nokia to unveil EOS, their so-called Lumia PureView 41-mega pixel camera phone on July 11 in New York City. But hey, just look at the first teaser poster unveiled last night on Nokia Conversations below, which dissolved all the doubts by inviting media and Nokia fans to join the live webcast of the launch event.
However, it is yet to be confirmed, as industry insiders believe that Nokia is also prepping another version of EOS with aluminum chassis. The most interesting part of was the time chosen by Nokia to splash the coming of EOS with 41MP camera.
A day back, Huawei announced world's slimmest smartphone called Ascend P6. And the device appreciated for its build quality and design. There are whispers of Nokia being taken over by Huawei. So with this teaser poster Nokia promised to come back on the top with EOS. Only time will tell.
Nokia is yet to announce Windows Phone 8 (WP8) powered EOS. How can one say that the above mentioned image only speaks about EOS? By looking at the headline you will get to know Nokia's intention to promote EOS, a little early. Here's the catchy headline: "41 million reasons to zoom in to Nokia Conversations on July 11. "Sure there's a catch. What? If you look at the teaser poster; it is painted in yellow (the background), and...written text, it was written in Black bold font. This could mean the Nokia EOS could arrive in multiple colors, as we have seen Nokia's tilt towards colorful chic phones (Remember Lumia 920!) It also signals plastic polycarbonate shell instead of metallic body.
As per ongoing reports, Nokia EOS is said to have a 41-mega pixel rear facing camera with mechanical settings and a built in shutter. The phone might also sport a 4.5-inch AMOLED display with 720p HD resolution, 32GB of internal memory with no expandable slot, and long battery life. It will also arrive with updated camera user interface (UI) - Nokia ProCamera.
GizBot brings top five expected features of Nokia EOS. These features are based on various reports circulating on the web. It may change any time soon.
Clcik Here For New Lumia Smartphones Gallery
The EOS or simply a monstrous 41-mega pixel camera phone is coming your way soon. It seems Nokia has already accepted to the fact that the device is coming with rumored 41MP camera. It will have a manual setting to give DSLR like look. However, there is no sample to prove the quality of the camera; still we are aware about how the original 808 PureView performed. The EOS will also comes with Nokia ProCamera User interface (UI). It can take images in both 35MP and 5MP pixels, as per multiple reports. This is not less than debate. There are reports which say that the Nokia EOS will have a plastic body just like other Lumia devices. The phone won't be different from Lumia 920. It could be even slimmer than Lumia 925. On the other hand there are believers, who would like to go for metallic body. The Nokia Lumia 925 comes with metallic rear back panel. This is the first handset in the Lumia series, which has an aluminum styled body. The front panel still made of polycarbonate plastic. Recently, according to a report Nokia EOS will have a 4.5-inch AMOLED display. Samsung is set to provide the display panels. AMOLED screen is far superior to regular IPS LCD display. While there are no such reports in favor of bigger than 5-inch display; so it is certain that the EOS has a 4.5-inch display. It is said that the Nokia EOS will have a Qualcomm powered quad-core processor. Microsoft is yet to announce GDR3 update. That said, for a time being all the rumors related to Nokia EOS being a quad-core phone are rubbish. The tech vendor now left with 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual-core processor option in hand. There is a rumor in the market in regards to GDR 2 update. According to a media reports, Microsoft will release GDR2 update. It will bring new features to WP8, as a platform. If the update is coming next month naturally there is fair chance to see EOS bundled with WP8( GDR2) edition.Nokia EOS – 41MP camera
