The company has stuck onto its own Series 40 OS in its budget and normal handsets for a long time now and intends to do so for the near future also. In fact the firm has ambitious plans for the Series 40 OS as it aims to use this software with its high end Nokia Smartphone"s that are powered by powerful 1 GHz processors. They plan to launch 2 new models according to latest internet rumors.
A popular blog based in South Africa named Excellullar has managed to obtain a distorted image of a new Symbian Anna powered Nokia mobile device which is expected to be Nokia 600. However, the phone is codenamed Cindy. The phone is said to feature the latest Symbian Anna User Interface.
The Nokia 600 looks like it has a capacitive touch screen based display of 3.2 inch size that is good for excellent visual experiences. The exact specifications of the Cindy are not known but rumors are that it will be equipped with a 1 GHz processor and a powerful 5 Mega Pixel camera.
Other specs doing the rounds are the inclusion of a Near Field Communication (NFC) chip and built in FM Radio. Many standard apps such as Skype, Shazam, YouTube, F-Secure, Vlingo and PDF reader will be expected to become a part of the standard package.
This Nokia mobile comes with lot of pre installed applications like YouTube, Skype etc.
Nokia 600 is also expected to be 3G compatible and it will mainly focus on the youth segment and thus will be tentatively priced. There is no word from Nokia regarding the official name and specs of the phone but as with previous cases the internet rumors might just turn out to be very true.
Following the Nokia 600 will be another speculated model that is codenamed as the Zeta 700. The Nokia 700 will feature the successor to Symbian Anna- the Belle. The Symbian Belle OS promises to make Nokia 700 an exciting model. The Nokia 700 is expected to feature a 3.2 inch AMOLED capacitive touch screen, 5 Mega Pixel camera and a 1GHz processor.
Nokia 700 will feature all the latest in technologies like 3G, Wi-Fi and much more.
With Nokia 600 and Nokia 700, the company is aiming to crate economical Smartphone"s that will offer customers a new horizon in Mobile wizardry.
