The Finnish giant might be worried about the mythical Surface smartphone device, but it won't make any impact on the sales of Asha handsets for sure. After months of wait consumers in India can now look forward to the Nokia Asha 310.

Yes! It's finally available on the Nokia's online shop at a price of Rs. 5,601. At this fantastic price, it is just a bargain. Samsung, who flashes its dominance with the Galaxy Y Android handset, has been re-connected with its fans by launching REX-Series. The REX-Series which supports open Java platform starts at a price of Rs. 4,280. Samsung calls REX-Series as "Smart Feature Phones".

In the coming months, Nokia has to face more efforts to say active in promoting Asha series. Why? Reason being, there is a world in the media that Firefox OS equipped smartphone said to enter Indian market. This is just a speculation, nothing else. In the mean time, Nokia rules the market under Rs. 5,000 handset market, at least, in India. Samsung and Micromax among other brands are catching up very rapidly.
