Over the week, the Indian tech market has been splashed with a low of budget tech offerings from several manufacturers including local and global vendors. Moreover, all the smartphones that have been launched fall under budget price points and are equipped with impressive specifications.

Nokia Asha 501

Nokia unveiled the Asha 501 handset in India on May 9. The handset is pegged for a June release at an estimated price tag of Rs 5,300 approximately. Asha 501 is equipped with a 3 inch QVGA capacitive touchscreen display with 320 x 240 pixels, 1GHz processor, 512MB RAM, 4GB internal storage, micro SD card slot supporting up to 32GB, 3.2MP main camera, Wi-Fi, 2G, Bluetooth 3.0 and a 1,200 mAh battery offering up to 17 hours of talk time and 48 days of standby.

Sony Xperia L

Sony announced the Xperia L alongside Xperia SP in March. After a couple of months, the Xperia L has made its way into the Indian market at Rs 18,990. Talking of specifications, Xperia L boasts a 4.3 inch capacitive touchscreen display with 854 x 480 pixel resolution, 1GHz dual core Snapdragon S4 Plus processor, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS, 8MP rear camera, VGA front camera, 8GB internal storage, micro SD card slot supporting up to 32GB, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS with A-GPS, NFC and a 1,750 mAh battery.

Karbonn S2 Titanium

Karbonn has announced S2 Titanium at Rs 10,790. The S2 Titanium comes with a 5-inch capacitive touchscreen with 854 x 480 pixel resolution, 1.2GHz quad core processor, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS, 8MP rear camera with autofocus and LED flash, 2MP front camera, 1GB RAM, 4GB internal storage, which can be expanded to up to 32GB via micro SD card, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G and a 2,100mAh battery.

Karbonn A7 Star

Karbonn A7 Star has been spotted on an online retailer at Rs 6,190. Karbonn A7 Star comes with a 4.5 inch FWVGA capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels, Android 4.0 ICS, 1GHz dual core processor, 5MP rear camera with autofocus and LED flash, 0.3MP front camera, 2G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 512MB RAM, 164MB internal storage, micro SD card slot supporting up to 32GB additional storage and a 1,400 mAh battery.

Karbonn A25

Karbonn has launched A25 online at Rs 6,590 and comes with impressive specifications including a 5 inch capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 480 x 800, 1GHz dual-core processor, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, dual SIM support, 5MP rear camera with autofocus and LED flash, VGA front camera for video calling, 2G, Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi, micro USB, 512MB RAM, 512MB internal memory, 32GB expandable memory with microSD and a 2,000 mAh battery.

Croma CRCB2093

Croma has launched a 4.63 inch smartphone at Rs 8,990. The handset dubbed as Croma CRCB2093 comes with a 4.63 inch multi-touch capacitive touchscreen display, 1GHz MediaTek MTK6577 dual core processor, Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich, dual SIM support, 4GB internal storage, micro SD card slot supporting up to 32GB, 8MP rear camera, 2MP front camera, Wi-Fi, USB, Bluetooth 2.1 and a 2,000 mAh battery.

Lava Xolo Q700

Lava has announced a quad core smartphone called Xolo Q700 at Rs 9,999. As far as specs are concerned, Xolo Q700 comes with a 4.5 inch IPS qHD capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels and 245 ppi pixel density, 1.2GHz quad-core MediaTek processor, 238 MHz PowerVR SGX544 GPU, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS, dual SIM support, 5MP rear camera with LED Flash, BSI sensor and 720p HD video recording, VGA front camera, 1GB RAM, 4GB internal memory, 32GB expandable memory with micro SD, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth and a 2,400 mAh battery.

Gionee GPad G2

GPad G2 is a dual SIM device sporting a 5.3 inch qHD with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels, 1.2GHz quad-core Cortex A7 processor, PowerVR Series5XT GPU, 1GB RAM, 4GB internal memory that can be expanded to up to 32GB using a microSD card, 8MP rear camera with autofocus and LED flash, 2MP front camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3G and a 3,000mAH battery. Further, Gionee GPad G2 runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Asking Price: Rs 13,990.

iBall Andi 5L is priced at Rs 10,490 and comes with a 5 inch capacitive touchscreen display with resolution of 480 X 800 pixels, 1GHz dual core processor, 512MB RAM, 4GB internal memory, micro SD card slot, 8MP rear camera, VGA front camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G and a 1,800mAh battery.
