Filling the gap between feature phones and modern day smart devices, the Asha 502 Dual SIM aims at 'first-time' smartphone buyers.
Originally, Nokia Asha 502 Dual SIM was first introduced at this year's Nokia World 2013 alongside the Asha 500 and Asha 503.
On December 13, GizBot did an exclusive story around the debut of Nokia Asha 502 Dual SIM in India. We clearly mentioned that Nokia could launch the device in India any time soon within this week. Both Nokia Asha 502 Dual SIM and Lumia 1520 are now available in retail stores across India.
Nokia Asha 502 Dual SIM is all about experiencing something ‘phenomenal' at an affordable price tag. Here comes the Asha 502 Dual SIM: a 3-inch phone running on the Nokia Asha Platform 1.1 with Fast Lane interface for true multi-tasking.
This pocket friendly phone also supports popular messaging apps including WhatsApp and Line.
Talking about its specifications, the Asha 502 Dual SIM incorporates a 3-inch LCD display having a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. The phone is completely redesigned from scratch, which Nokia calls 'Dual shot layering effect'.
The Asha 502 Dual SIM is coated with ‘crystal -effect ‘casing. The device looks stunning and you can comfortably hold it in one hand.
The Asha 502 Dual SIM supports 32MB of internal memory which can be further expanded via a microSD card. The device measures 11.1 mm in terms of thickness and weighs roughly 100 grams. Moreover, the Asha 502 features a micro-SIM card slot, instead of regular SIM size.
Nokia made phones have an added advantage i.e. long lasting battery life. The makers have added a 1,100mAh battery fitted inside which can run up to 14 hours of talk time. Further, there's a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED Flash.
Nokia Asha 502 Dual SIM is now available in six sizzling colors: red, cyan, black, green, yellow and white.
With the availability of Asha 502 Dual SIM, Nokia hasn't slashed the retail price of ever popular Asha 501. The phone is still priced at Rs.4,999 ( officially), however, you can purchase the device for less through various online shopping websites.
