Now the Nokia Asha series users can enjoy the Nokia Browser 2.0 update. With this new upgrade, the users will get faster and easier access to various online services. The Nokia Browser squeezes the data by up to 90% which makes loading web sites faster and at the same time cheaper as well. In addition to the data condensing option, the new browser also adds up a novel Download Manager.
The Download Manager facilitates the users to choose the location where they would like to save the download content without closing the application. A new multitasking-while-browsing feature is also included along with the new Nokia browser upgrade. Apart from this a social-sharing bit is also provided which enables users to visit various social networking sites including Twitter, Sina Weibo, Facebook and RenRen. Nokia Browser 2.0 users can also attach their comments in these sites.
With the new Browser version 2.0, the users can enjoy various other new features which make searching, discovering and sharing the data much easier than the previous browser version. The browser update is not limited to the Nokia Asha series handsets. The users of Series 40 devices can also enjoy the same. The update will also be available for the Nokia C3-00, Nokia X3-02 and Nokia C2-03 handsets as well.
The feature Series 40s handsets will come equipped with the new Browser 2.0. For the other exiting Nokia users, the new browser download option is made available on Nokia Store. Nokia also offers its users with an OTA package to make the upgrade possible. But the users have to wait a little bit for the OTA package to hit their handsets.
With the new upgrade, the Nokia users can enjoy an enhanced user experience along with speedier and easier browsing. It also provides better personalization. The users can check out their favourites as well as recently visited websites in just a click. Yet another highlight of Nokia Browser 2.0 is its support to about more than 10,000 Web Apps. The new browser will also allow users to enjoy videos and pictures in a better way. It also gives a new pathway to save pictures and videos to view it later.
The Browser 2.0 adds up the Nokia users with a new spontaneous user interface which facilitates one click access to several sites from the start page itself. It also enables multitasking by which the users can switch between browsing the web and messaging at the same time.
