Nokia has brought out a new mobile handset model which is less a heavily powered OS mobile and more a worthy addition to one's life style accessory collection. Nokia C3-01 Gold Edition targets those who are not into high end mobile computing, but simply want to make a call from their mobile which definitely boasts a bit of luxury. To all those obsessed with Gold and longing to have it in their mobile, Nokia C3-01 Gold Edition is the right choice.

Its is not an exceptionally feature rich mobile phone with cutting edge technology and super powered OS, but is definitely a mobile unique in its means. The main high light of the phone is its appearance. The new mobile phone is plated with 18 carat gold plating and coded with a matching theme.

The ancestor of the newcomer, the 40 series Nokia C3-01 touch and type was launched last year. The phone was a classically designed mobile handset and even with limited hardware and software specifications the phone had a record sale in the market. But it's not that the new Nokia C3-01 Gold Edition is short of high performance and features.

It definitely comes loaded with some standard configurations like a quad band radio and even HSDPA data speeds in cooperation with an advanced Bluetooth and WiFi devices. The connectivity of the device is thus secured.

Nokia C3-01 Gold Edition this time comes with a hardware update of 1GHz processor which means it's pretty fast now. The new mobile phone however lacks an OS.

The display is a 2.4 inch with TFT resistive touch screen and with 256 k color support. The screen resolution is a 240 X 320 pixel. The phone has limited the internal memory storage of the device to a 140 MB and has only a 64 MB RAM. But the data storage can be expanded to a 32 GB by using an external microSD card.

The connectivity options include a classic 32 GPRS with EDGE technology and the phone supports 3G network bands. The WiFi utility is an 802.11 b/g/n. A version 2.1 Bluetooth is also provided for easy data transfer with other supported external hardware. A microUSB version 2.1 is given alongside.

The latest mobile has a 5 MP camera assisted by a LED Flash. The video recording is a VGA with 30 fps. The phone is presented with Ceramic- feel key mat materials for adding the comfort. It can give quick access to Facebook, Twitter and similar online applications.

The Luxuriously designed handsets of Nokia C3-01 Gold Edition can be owned at a price of € 220 which is roughly around Rs 16620 in India.
