Well, everyone is introduced to the fact by now, that Stephen Elop, Nokia's CEO definitely detests Apple iPhone and is all geared up this year to regain its market supreme position. But one thing, which is not known to many is that the Finnish tech giant is not only holding on to its current Lumia devices including 920, 820 and others to combat with the iPhone models.
Rather, Nokia has plans to launch more sizzling Lumia range this year, to lure the iPhone and Andorid lovers to switch to Lumia range. This can be said as on an interview aired on a Finnish TV the CEO just confirmed about Nokia future launches. Yes! Giving a peek to the brighter future of Nokia, he said that new Lumia devices are indeed coming, and they would be "beautiful."
"What we are also saying though is that there is so much good work ahead. I mean some of the beautiful phones still ahead we're so excited about," Elop said during the interview, a recent article on MyNokiaBlog notes.
"What you're seeing, so much about the improvements at Nokia is we may have a full portfolio of beautiful products but because the engineering teams in Tamperreella, Salossa, Oulossa, San Diego, in Beijing, all these places, they are working so much more effectively producing such better products," said the report.
Nokia Lumia 928 Coming Soon?
Relatively, many tech pundits are anticipated that Elop has thrown hints on the recently rumored Lumia 928 - the upcoming Windows Phone handset that is said to differ vastly from their current lineup of Lumia devices.
While, Elop avoided to answer question about the Lumia 928, and claimed that he did not know about such handset's existence, however, his statements were enough to fire the rumors about the rumored handset.
Hearsay also includes that Lumia 928 will come to compete with the likes of HTC One, Samsung Galaxy S4 and will also boast an all aluminum body along with a stunning design and great camera capabilities. What more to expect? Well, the high end speculated handset is also said to feature the Xenon flash technology which is found in point and shoot camera, which is extremely bright and will be able to freeze motion and capture more accurate colors than LED.
When to expect the handset in the market? Right now, there is no full proof information on the handset's launch and release date time frame. However, speculations are rife that the handset will see a light sometime around April 2013.
Well, all seems to be a good news for Nokia Lumia lovers, but they will have to wait for long to see the next Lumia in action.
