Nokia confirms Lumia 920, 820 and 620 UK Release: What About India Availability?
Its official now! Nokia Lumia 620, 820 and 920 would be soon available in various retail outlets across UK from January 2013. Nokia lovers would be keen to receive this Nokia Windows 8 trio on the New Year eve.
It is expected that these models would reach all carriers by February 2013. As of now, Nokia Lumia 920 is available only through phones4U, T-Mobile, Orange and EE. The devices are likely to be offered through Vodafone and Three UK networks in January 2013. Further, it will also be available with online retailers like Carphone Warehouse and Micro-P.
Moreover, January 2013, will also witness Lumia 820's entry to the markets. As per the information coming in, it will be made available at Vodafone outlets initially along with various monthly plans. The device will also be distributed though mobile networks like Orange, EE, Tesco, Phones4U, T-Mobile as well as through retailers like Carphone Warehouse, O2 and Micro-P.
The Nokia Lumia-620 is all set to be launched in February 2013. The phone will be available in Virgin Mobile, Carphone Warehouse, Micro-P, Phones4U, Vodafone, O2 and Three UK outlets. The price of the device is not available at the moment.
Meanwhile, as far as India availability of the new Lumia range is concerned, it was reportedly informed lately that Nokia Care representatives confirmed during an online chat that Lumia 920 and 820 are expected to be in stores in by the first week of January 2013. In the report, they also mentioned that during fourth week of January, Lumia 620 should also be in stores. That was expected considering Nokia's push for massive China market, where the reception of pre-orders has been really good for both Lumia 920 and 920T.
Lumia 920 packs a 4.5 inch capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels along with PureMotion HD and ClearBlack display technologies. The handset is equipped with an 8.7MP rear camera with PureView branding, 1.2MP front camera, 1.5GHz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 1GB RAM, 32GB internal memory, NFC connectivity and 2,000 mAh Li-ion battery.
Coming to the Lumia 820, the handset features a 4.3 inch AMOLED ClearBlack capacitive touchscreen display with 800 x 480 pixels. The handset has a 1.5GHz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal memory, 8MP camera with the PureView technology, a VGA front camera video calling, NFC and 1,650 mAh Li-ion battery.
