Nokia unveiled the Lumia 800 smartphones based on Windows Phone 7 OS at the Nokia World 2011 event held in October 2011 alongside Lumia 710. The handset hit the retail shelves of India by mid-December at a price tag of Rs 29,999. However, in January and March, the handset received price cuts and it is available for Rs 24,999 on the Nokia Shop.
Also, the Nokia Shop is offering the Lumia 800 with an attractive offer. As per the deal, the company is offering a Nokia Play 360 speaker worth Rs 9,350 for free. The offer is available on Lumia 800 smartphones purchased between the timeframe of September 23 to October 23, 2012 only.
However, the offer listed by the Nokia claims that this offer is applicable only for those who have received either an email or a SMS regarding the deal and that the delivery of the free Nokia Play 360 speaker might vary from 7 days to 20 days depending up on the location of the consumers.
Moreover, buyers of Lumia 800 will have to register an account with Nokia entering their email id and phone number in this link to avail an unique code. After buying the smartphone from a Nokia Store across India or from the Nokia's online shop, users will have to fill in the details available in this form mentioning their Nokia ID, unique code obtained after registration, address, IMEI number of the handset and more to claim the offer.
On the specifications front, the Lumia 800 carries a dimension of 116.5 x 61.2 x 12.1 mm and weighs in at 142 grams. The handset sports a 3.7 inch AMOLED ClearBlack capacitive touchscreen display with 800 x 480 pixel resolution.
