Nokia Lumia 1020 Up For Pre-Order In India On Snapdeal

Nokia is gearing up to release its flagship Lumia 1020 in India. The phone was launched 11 July in the US. Fans from around the country have been awaiting the phone for a while now owing to its brilliant 41-megapixel.

Online retailer Snapdeal has announced that it will start taking pre-orders for the Lumia 1020. The company also added that the handset would be released in India during the first week of October. With an advance payment of ₹2000, you can pre-order a handset right away. The remainder of the amount can be paid when the device is available. However, the retail has not mentioned the entire price of the device at the moment.

Nokia's Lumia 1020 uses a 4.5-inch AMOLED WXGA (1280x768p) screen with PureMotion HD+ display technology. There's some protection offered by its Corning Gorilla Glass 3 screen shield.

The handset uses a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Processor along with 2GB of RAM. There's 32GB of inbuilt memory.

But the key selling point of the Lumia 1020 happens to be its camera. By using a powerful 41.0-megapixel PureView camera with 6 physical Carl Zeiss Tesser lenses, the Lumia 1020 delivers some wonderful pictures. Thanks to its Optical Image stabilization or OIS feature, you'll be able to click shake-free pictures. For lighting, there's a Xenon flash unit. There's a 1.3MP HD camera up front that's capable of wide angles and 720p HD video.

Nokia has even added some nice apps to excite shutter bugs. The Lumia 1020 comes with applications and editing tools such as Nokia Pro Camera, PhotoBeamer, Cinemagraph, Nokia Smart Camera and more.
