While the Lumia 1520 continues to perform exceptionally well in domestic market, Nokia today officially kicks of retail availability of its Lumia 1320. The 6-inch phone is already available via Nokia's own shop at a price point of Rs. 24,081.
According to Nokia, the Lumia 1320 will be delivered in five working days, if one gets the device from official online store. Moreover, the yellow colored Lumia 1320 is not available for purchase. At the same time, interested users can look forward to choose from thee give color options: Black, White and Orange.
Nokia officially introduced Lumia 1320 and Lumia 525 in India in the first week of January 2014. While the Limia 525, a successor to the Lumia 520, was made available in India on the same day of launch. However, Nokia announced that Lumia 1320 will hit the retail shelves starting January 13.
The Lumia 1320 incorporates a 6-inch HD LCD IPS Super sensitive display (Clear Black) having a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels at 245 ppi. The large size phablet is powered by a 1.7GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, backed by 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 64GB via a microSD card slot.
Windows Phone 8 powered OS gives you to a chance PC like experience on a 6-inch slab. Also, you can access MS Office with no addition cost. The phone also packs a 5MP rear-facing camera with LED Flash and 0.3MP front-facing camera. The rear-facing camera is capable of recording videos in Full HD format.
Other connectivity options include: 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 + LE, GPS / A-GPS, NFC, USB 2.0 and a micro SIM card slot. The device measures 164.25 x 85.9 x 9.79 mm and weighs 220 grams. The makers have added a 3400 mAh integrated battery fitted inside.
In the coming days, Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 is also expected to be made available across India. The device is already available via eBay India for Rs. 23,990. Surely, the competition will heat up with the coming of Lumia 1320 and Galaxy Grand 2 in the mid-range market.
