Nokia is expected to announce its first gigantic 6-inch phablet on October 22 at an event next week in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This year's edition to the Nokia World is different from past global events. For a while now, Nokia has been expected to announce as many as six devices including a tablet and notebook computer. Microsoft has already announced the coming of Windows Phone 8 Update 3 that not only supports Full HD display, but also allows a manufacture to use a heavy duty Qualcomm SoC.

The purported Nokia Lumia 1520 has been teased many times in the past few weeks. The forthcoming phablet is said to have a 6-inch FHD display. The device is said to be as big as just announced the HTC One Max. Under the hood, expect a 2GHz quad-core processor powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC coupled with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable internal-memory.

The handset will have a 20.7-megapixel PureView camera with Auto Focus and advanced LED mechanism. Recently, a brand new color - Cyan, was leaked by Moroleaks. The third live tile column of the start screen is no more a joke, but will soon be a reality once the device gets officially launched on October 22.

Meanwhile, Twitter sensation @evleaks, a reliable source in the past , has once again confirms the internal hardware specifications of the Lumia 1520. The device will indeed have a 6-inch 1080p HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB/32GB of ROM, 20MP PureView camera and Qi wireless charging. The much hyped expected device will be available in White, Yellow and Black colors. We're unsure whether the Lumia 1520 will arrive in Red and Cyan colors as well.

One of the rumors surrounding the Nokia Lumia 1520 is that the device might feature a 6-inch FHD display or not. Various tech portals in the past and present largely believe that the Lumia 1520 will be the first Nokia device to have a massive 6-inch display having a Full HD 1080p resolution. Now Microsoft has already confirmed that the Windows Phone 8 Update 3 will allow manufacturers to make handsets between 5- 6-inch FHD displays alongside the latest quad-core processor by Qualcomm. Hence, there are more chances to see Nokia making a handset with Full HD display smartphones in the future.
