Now once again Nokia is making news by announcing another Windows running tablet early next year. Nokia Lumia 2020 is a long rumored 8.3-inch (Full HD) tab running Windows RT, and if new rumors are to be believed, then you may see the device at the MWC 2014.
Recently, a mysterious tablet carrying a model number RX-115 was spotted on Zauba.com. Interestingly, the device was shipped to India for testing.
Nokia RX-115 (Nokia Lumia 2020)
The Nokia RX-115 is described as a "cellphone", as per the report. With the 8.3-inch display, definitely the device is closer to a tablet device. The device will also feature a nano-SIM card slot.
Nokia Lumia 2020 is said to be the company's first 8-inch tablet device. It would have a quad-core processor powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC coupled with 2GB of RAM. Reportedly, it will be faster and could back better display compared to the Nokia Lumia 2520.
Few days back, Nokiapoweruser reported about the forthcoming 8-inch Windows running tablet alongside another high-end handset, the Lumia 1820.
"Lumia 2020 will be the name of Nokia's rumored 8-inch Tablet. This Tablet will run on Snapdragon 800 and will have a 1080p resolution display. It will be faster and have higher PPI display than Lumia 2520 and will come with stylus support. This Tablet and Nokia's next imaging flagship Lumia 1820 with metal unibody and Lytro-style camera will be unveiled during MWC in 2014".
Sources close to DigiTimes revealed that Nokia has already panned an 8-inch tablet in advance. The Lumia 2020 is expected to be announced at the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2014.
Nokia RM-997 (Nokia Lumia 525)
Nokia is expected to announce a 4.5-inch Dual SIM phone. The 4.5-inch Dual SIM handset, codenamed RM-997, already leaked several times in the past. Whether the device would run Windows Phone 8 out of the box is yet to be verified. Moreover, multiple reports suggest this very phone is none other than the Lumia 525 in dual SIM flavor.
