Finnish based tech major Nokia has officially announced its two new Lumia phones launched back in Nokia World Congress in October 2013 - the budget successor to Lumia 520 - Lumia 525 and the mid range phblet Nokia Lumia 1320.
Running on the latest version of Windows Phone 8 (WP8), Nokia will officially start retailing the Lumia 525 from today itself at a price of Rs 10,399; while Lumia 1320 (16GB version) will be available from Jan 10 onwards at a price of Rs 23,999.
Nokia Lumia 525 - Key Specs
Lumia 525 is a 4-inch (480x 800) smartphone made for masses and is powered by a 1GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, coupled with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory, which can be expanded up to 64GB via a microSD card slot.
Also, you will get free 7GB of cloud storage. There's a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera without flash, and even a front-facing camera is missing. Moreover, the handset comes with Nokia Smart Cam app and pre-loaded with HERE maps. Nokia has added a 1430mAh battery m which can give up to 17 hours of talk time, and up to 336 hours of standby time. Other connectivity options include: 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS, and amongst other features.
At the same time, Nokia had done a tie up with Gaming major Gameloft, according to which Lumia 525 owners will get games worth Rs 2025 preloaded on the handset during the time of purchase.
Nokia Lumia 1320 - Key Specs
The Nokia Lumia 1320 boasts a 6-inch HD LCD IPS Super sensitive display (ClearBlack) having a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels at 245 ppi. It is powered by a 1.7GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, backed by 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 64GB via a microSD card slot. The phablet is running on the Windows Phone 8. The handset also packs a 5MP rear-facing camera with LED Flash and 0.3MP front-facing camera. The rear-facing camera is capable of recording videos in Full HD format. Moreover, the company also says that it will be offering users 7 GB of free cloud storage. Other connectivity options include: 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 + LE, GPS / aGPS, NFC, USB 2.0 and a micro SIM card slot. The device measures 164.25 x 85.9 x 9.79 mm and weighs 220 grams. The makers have added a 3400 mAh integrated battery.
