These days manufacturers have raised the bar in terms of design and performance for their mid-range market devices.
Nokia being one of them, is also following the same strategy for its affordable segment. This year the company's latest mid range handset, the Lumia 630, which made its debut at Build conference, came running on the latest Windows Phone 8.1 OS. Boasting a sleek look the handset's dual SIM variant was made available in India last month at a price of Rs 11,500.
However, those of you who are looking for the single SIM variant of Lumia 630, well here's the good news for you. It's available online in India at a price of Rs 10,500. Yes, online retailer Indiatimes is selling the Lumia 630 Single SIM variant in four color variants including Black, Orange, Green and Yellow.
Apart from the single SIM and dual SIM functionality, nothing else differs in the two variants. The single SIM variant of Lumia 630 has got the same 4.5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. Under the hood, you'll get to see a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, coupled with 512MB of RAM and 8GB of native storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card slot.
On the camera front, there's a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera without an LED Flash. Unfortunately, the makers have not added a front-facing camera. The phone's rear-facing camera is capable of recording videos in 720p HD format.
With Windows Phone 8.1, Lumia 630 has got a lot of feature enhancements such as a notification center, more personalization options and much improved key-board experience. The phone is equipped with 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, HERE Maps and a large 1,830mAh battery fitted inside.
