Microsoft, for instance, is marketing its Lumia 730 as an ultimate device for taking selfies. Most recently, Microsoft Lumia Bangladesh used the Lumia 730 to set a world record for most people captured in a single selfie.
In fact, Microsoft was able to fit in as many as 1151 people into the record breaking selfie. This is just a beginning, as many more records will be broken this season.
If Microsoft is working hard to promote its Lumia 730, than the Japanese electronics maker Sony is also not far behind. They may not be aggressively marketing the Xperia C3 post the launch of the Lumia 730, even though they have had extensively promoted the device in the past.

Here comes a major difference between the two devices. The Lumia 730 is running on Windows Phone 8.1 with Lumia Denim. The Sony Xperia C3, on the other hand, runs Android 4.4 KitKat with Sony's native UI slapped on top.
The user experience on both these handsets is going to be a different story. Both OS offers a wide range of apps. Meanwhile, Microsoft has a large number of first-party apps, including Skype and MS Office, among others.
